Get to know your coach…
My goal since I was 18 years old has been to become financially independent and not depend on a job. I didn’t know how I would get there, but I knew I had to be in control of my money and use it in an effective way to reach my goals.
Money affects all aspects of our lives however, it’s not something we’re taught at school. The financial world is full of jargon and complicated products which can make it intimidating and difficult to navigate. I got into financial coaching because I’ve seen and experienced the impact that financial education has had in helping me understand how to plan and take action toward my financial future. I also believe that using your money as a tool means you get to decide what’s most important to you and how you want to spend your money and time. I find it incredibly rewarding to help people achieve their financial goals and create their ideal life.
Before my financial coaching journey began, I worked in 3 different roles all within the financial space during my corporate career – a financial controller for a technology and communications consulting company, in business development for a publicly listed BPO company and as a project manager for a fintech start-up.
My corporate career gave me invaluable knowledge and experience, however, I felt that there had to be something else out of the corporate world which was meant for me. I have taken with me transferable skills, great connections and relevant experience which has helped me start my own business and I finally found something I truly love – working as a financial coach and helping people use their money as a tool to create their ideal life!
