Get to know your coach…
I previously served as a British Army officer for 7 years, so I bring with me a particular understanding of both the unique challenges of Forces life and the public sector package/pension arrangements. I saw first hand the stressful impact that out of control personal finances can have on someone’s life, but also the capacity that a bit of planning and organisation has to further improve a solid foundation.
I subsequently spent some time working in Asset Management in Business Operations, gaining insight into the machinery of the financial markets and how investment products are put together. I also developed a particular interest in ethical/sustainable investment and am passionate about helping people, particularly women, understand how investing can help them – it’s not as daunting as it can first appear!
My favourite part of coaching is gaining a holistic understanding of your unique situation, then helping you to understand those key aspects that can positively impact your circumstances and make you feel a whole lot more secure.
In my spare time (when not running around after my toddler daughter!) I like to pursue any opportunities for adventure and travel I can, if it involves skiing and/or diving so much the better. I have also enjoyed volunteering for veterans’ charities and singing in a choir.
Thank you for reading; don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like to discuss how we can improve your financial future together!
