I love helping people discover how to use money as a tool to achieve their goals, be it quitting a job and starting that dream business, travelling around the world or buying their home – being empowered to make the choices you want, to live the life you love!
I love coaching business owners, start-up founders and entrepreneurs with their exciting new ideas, but what I discovered was that many of them (including myself) were scared to handle finances. They didn’t understand how money worked, and it’s no surprise because many of us are not taught basic financial literacy in school. Somehow we are expected to
know how to budget, invest and understand our pensions when we become adults…but that’s not the case!
Financial literacy is a skill that needs to be learnt and I found that having a money coach to teach me, guide me and help me to understand how money worked and how it related to my goals was life changing. Understanding money helped me to quit the day job and start up my own award winning businesses and pursue my passions and interests. And this option is available to everyone – if you know how to manage your money.
I am passionate about helping people to live the life they want, on their own terms, pursuing what lights them up. But many don’t feel this is an option because they ‘can’t afford it’. But what I have seen is that it takes relatively small and simple but consistent actions that help you become more financially resilient so that you can make decisions that lead you towards your dreams and live the life you want.
Many people hire personal coaches and trainers to achieve their health goals. Financial wellbeing is no different. Working with a Money Coach gives you the support, encouragement and clarity to help you reach your goals using money as a tool. I help my clients get to the point where they say, ”Wow, I can actually see my dreams materialising and I’m one (or ten) steps closer to living the life I want – because I can afford it!”.
